Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table

1. Features
The Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table features a table top that is two-thirds the size of a regulation table tennis table (72 inches long and 36 inches wide) but stands at the regulation height of 30 inches.
The two halves of the table come apart and are able to stand separately which is great because it allows you to use the table for card games or other table games – especially if you have kids. The corners of the table also have bumpers which we thought was a good addition for the safety of children.
The table is sturdy and requires no assembly on arrival. The small playing surface gives adults the chance to practice their accuracy in play and also lets children hone their skills for the bigger regulation table.
The net doesn’t look brilliant, but we feel it is good enough for the price of the table. “Round-the-net” shots will be easy to execute as it doesn’t extend outside the edge of the table – like typical net posts.
Mid-Sized
The obvious weakness of the Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table is its size. Being two-thirds as big as a regulation table tennis table, adults will not get the full game experience.
We see it as more of a table for children and recreational ping pong play. If you are looking to improve your skills and are in any way serious about competitive table tennis, we don’t think this table is for you.
If on the other hand, you are just looking for a bit of fun from time to time, or to train your kids in the build up to using a regulation table, we do recommend the Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table.
Closet Ready
While serious players may turn their nose up at playing on a smaller table, you could say the Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table‘s biggest advantage is its size. The table easily folds into two pieces, being 3 feet by 3 feet, which can fit into most standard closet spaces.
If you own an apartment or have a smaller sized living room you won’t have any trouble storing this table away. After all, who wants to have a massive table tennis table permanently up when space is in short supply!
We really recommend this table as it takes up virtually no space at all.
2. Price
The Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table is a real bargain for your money.
In the US, it is sold via Amazon.com for $155.23. That includes the Joola net and post set and free delivery to your home.
The price isn’t quite as good in the UK. It is sold by Amazon.co.uk for £149.15 (which converts into roughly $180) but that is still a reasonable price for a mini table tennis table.

At roughly $150 (or £150, if you’re in the UK), the Joola Midsize is a brilliant little table tennis table that is perfect for recreational play and training younger players. Reviews are good too. If you’re wanting a mini table we are sure you won’t be disappointed.
If you need/want a full-size table…
Obviously, the Joola Midsize isn’t for you. If you take your game seriously and need to practice on a regulation size table this one isn’t going to work. Having to adjust your shots for the shorter length is unlikely to do your game much good.

The Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table is really built for fun. Children will love playing on this table. If you want a table tennis table for family gatherings and occasional play, that can easily be put up/down and then stored away, this is the table for you!
