The Yinhe 40+ 3-Star seamless table tennis ball is sold by Yinhe, another up-and-coming Chinese table tennis brand. Yinhe have had a bit of a branding disaster and now go by three different names; Yinhe, Galaxy, and Milky Way. It’s the same brand, they just can’t make up their minds which name they like best!

If you aren’t particularly clued up when it comes to table tennis equipment you might not realise that the Yinhe 40+ 3-Star seamless ball is not manufactured directly by Yinhe. Instead, it is manufactured by Shanghai Minkow – the company that produce all of the seamless table tennis balls, in China.

Other plastic table tennis balls manufactured (and rebranded) by Minkow include;

YINHE 40+

This means that all seamless table tennis balls are identical, just with different brand logos printed on them. This Yinhe 40+ ball is exactly the same as the popular Xushaofa 40+ seamless ball, and the Kingnik 40+ 3-Star (which is the in-house brand of Shanghai Minkow).

THE REVIEW

We haven’t managed to do a full video review of the Yinhe 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball yet – and I’m not sure we ever will. Instead, it is our intention to film a video comparing all five of the new plastic balls and giving our opinions on which is the best table tennis ball.

If you are looking for a review of the Yinhe 40+ ball, and as all of the seamless balls are exactly the same, we would advise you to have a look at our review of either the Xushaofa ball or the Kingnik ball. Everything we say about those balls will apply directly to the Yinhe 40+ ball.

BUY THE BALL

If you are looking for seamless balls, we recommend buying Minkow’s own-branded Kingnik 40+ balls. Unless other balls are on special offer, the Kingnik balls should always be the cheapest – as they come direct from the factory. You can buy Kingnik 40+ 3-star balls from;

If you aren’t particularly clued up when it comes to table tennis equipment you might not realise that the Tibhar SL 40+ 3-Star seamless ball is not manufactured directly by Tibhar. Instead, it is manufactured by Shanghai Minkow – the company that produce all of the seamless table tennis balls, in China.

TIBHAR SL 40+

This means that all seamless table tennis balls are identical, just with different brand logos printed on them. This Tibhar SL 40+ ball is exactly the same as the popular Xushaofa 40+ seamless ball, and the Kingnik 40+ 3-Star (which is the in-house brand of Shanghai Minkow).

THE REVIEW

We haven’t managed to do a full video review of the Tibhar SL 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball yet – and I’m not sure we ever will. Instead, it is our intention to film a video comparing all five of the new plastic balls and giving our opinions on which is the best table tennis ball.

If you are looking for a review of the Tibhar SL 40+ ball, and as all of the seamless balls are exactly the same, we would advise you to have a look at our review of either the Xushaofa ball or the Kingnik ball. Everything we say about those balls will apply directly to the Tibhar SL 40+ ball.

BUY THE BALL

If you are looking for seamless balls, we recommend buying Minkow’s own-branded Kingnik 40+ balls. Unless other balls are on special offer, the Kingnik balls should always be the cheapest – as they come direct from the factory. You can buy Kingnik 40+ 3-star balls from;

Schildkröt have been making table tennis balls for years – I used to use a lot of them about 15 years ago – but they haven’t been very popular recently.
SCHILDKRÖT SUPER 40+

This means that all seamless table tennis balls are identical, just with different brand logos printed on them. This Schildkröt Super 40+ ball is exactly the same as the popular Xushaofa 40+ seamless ball, and the Kingnik 40+ 3-Star (which is the in-house brand of Shanghai Minkow).

THE REVIEW

We haven’t managed to do a full video review of the Schildkröt Super 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball yet – and I’m not sure we ever will. Instead, it is our intention to film a video comparing all five of the new plastic balls and giving our opinions on which is the best table tennis ball.

If you are looking for a review of the Schildkröt Super 40+ ball, and as all of the seamless balls are exactly the same, we would advise you to have a look at our review of either the Xushaofa ball or the Kingnik ball. Everything we say about those balls will apply directly to the Schildkröt Super 40+ ball.

BUY THE BALL

If you are looking for seamless balls, we recommend buying Minkow’s own-branded Kingnik 40+ balls. Unless other balls are on special offer, the Kingnik balls should always be the cheapest – as they come direct from the factory. You can buy Kingnik 40+ 3-star balls from;

The Nexy 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball has become quite popular in the USA, where NexyUSA have a fairly big presence. The brand isn’t so well-known in the UK and Europe. Nexy appear to be another fairly new Korean table tennis brand, like Xiom.

If you aren’t particularly clued up when it comes to table tennis equipment you might not realise that the Nexy 40+ 3-Star seamless ball is not manufactured directly by Nexy. Instead, it is manufactured by Shanghai Minkow – the company that produce all of the seamless table tennis balls, in China.

Other plastic table tennis balls manufactured (and rebranded) by Minkow include;

729 40+ 3-Star

Asian Pacific 40+ 3-Star

GKI Premium 40+ 3-Star

Hanno 40+ 3-Star

iPong Sphere 40+ 3-Star

Joola Flash 40+ 3-Star

Kingnik 40+ 3-Star – Minkow’s in-house branded ball.

Nexy 40+ 3-Star

Palio 40+ 3-Star

Sanwei 40+ 3-Star

Schildkröt Super 40+ 3-Star

Stag Peter Karlsson 40+ 3-Star

Tibhar SL 40+ 3-Star

Xiom 40+ 3-Star

Xushaofa 40+ 3-Star

Yinhe 40+ 3-Star

NEXY 40+

This means that all seamless table tennis balls are identical, just with different brand logos printed on them. This Nexy 40+ ball is exactly the same as the popular Xushaofa 40+ seamless ball, and the Kingnik 40+ 3-Star (which is the in-house brand of Shanghai Minkow).

What is even stranger is how similar the Nexy packaging is to the Yinhe packaging. It looks as if Nexy have copied the Yinhe design completely and simply swapped the Yinhe logos for Nexy ones! Or perhaps it’s the other way around and Yinhe copied Nexy. Who knows.

THE REVIEW

We haven’t managed to do a full video review of the Nexy 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball yet – and I’m not sure we ever will. Instead, it is our intention to film a video comparing all five of the new plastic balls and giving our opinions on which is the best table tennis ball.

If you are looking for a review of the Nexy 40+ ball, and as all of the seamless balls are exactly the same, we would advise you to have a look at our review of either the Xushaofa ball or the Kingnik ball. Everything we say about those balls will apply directly to the Nexy 40+ ball.

BUY THE BALL

If you are looking for seamless balls, we recommend buying Minkow’s own-branded Kingnik 40+ balls. Unless other balls are on special offer, the Kingnik balls should always be the cheapest – as they come direct from the factory. You can buy Kingnik 40+ 3-star balls from;

The Joola Flash 40+ 3-Star table tennis is sold by German-based table tennis brand, Joola. The Joola Flash is the second plastic ball to come from the brand. They started with the “plastic with seam” Joola Super-P ball but added the Joola Flash seamless ball after seeing the popularity of other seamless balls.

The iPong Sphere 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball is sold by USA-based, ping pong robot manufacturers, iPong. It is not to be confused with the iPong Poly Pro ball (shown below) – which is their training ball as isn’t ITTF approved. Sorry, I could find an image for the iPong Sphere.

If you aren’t particularly clued up when it comes to table tennis equipment you might not realise that the iPong Sphere 40+ 3-Star seamless ball is not manufactured directly by iPong. Instead, it is manufactured by Shanghai Minkow – the company that produce all of the seamless table tennis balls, in China.

Other plastic table tennis balls manufactured (and rebranded) by Minkow include;

729 40+ 3-Star

Asian Pacific 40+ 3-Star

GKI Premium 40+ 3-Star

Hanno 40+ 3-Star

iPong Sphere 40+ 3-Star

Joola Flash 40+ 3-Star

Kingnik 40+ 3-Star – Minkow’s in-house branded ball.

Nexy 40+ 3-Star

Palio 40+ 3-Star

Sanwei 40+ 3-Star

Schildkröt Super 40+ 3-Star

Stag Peter Karlsson 40+ 3-Star

Tibhar SL 40+ 3-Star

Xiom 40+ 3-Star

IPONG SPHERE 40+

This means that all seamless table tennis balls are identical, just with different brand logos printed on them. This iPong Sphere 40+ ball is exactly the same as the popular Xushaofa 40+ seamless ball, and the Kingnik 40+ 3-Star (which is the in-house brand of Shanghai Minkow).

As I mentioned earlier, check to make sure you are getting the iPong Sphere (which is a 3-star ball) and not the iPong Poly Pro (which is a training ball). Personally, I don’t like that they have called their training ball the “Poly Pro” as I recon this could easily confuse players into thinking it was a top quality ball.

THE REVIEW

We haven’t managed to do a full video review of the iPong Sphere 40+ 3-Star table tennis ball yet – and I’m not sure we ever will. Instead, it is our intention to film a video comparing all five of the new plastic balls and giving our opinions on which is the best table tennis ball.

If you are looking for a review of the iPong Sphere 40+ ball, and as all of the seamless balls are exactly the same, we would advise you to have a look at our review of either the Xushaofa ball or the Kingnik ball. Everything we say about those balls will apply directly to the iPong Sphere 40+ ball.

BUY THE BALL

If you are looking for seamless balls, we recommend buying Minkow’s own-branded Kingnik 40+ balls. Unless other balls are on special offer, the Kingnik balls should always be the cheapest – as they come direct from the factory. You can buy Kingnik 40+ 3-star balls from;
