The Caleson Professional features ITTF approved rubbers for tournament or competitions use, carbon technology for increased speed and power and ergo grip technology.
The racket is rated as follows: Speed – 90, Spin – 95 and Control – 80. It weighs about 190 grams.
Our Opinion
We find the Caleson Professional to be a solid choice for the price you pay for it. $30.99 for an advanced-level racket is pretty amazing.
The racket weighs approximately 190 grams and this puts it on the heavier side, which could take some people a little more time to get used to. The speed and spin you can get out of the Caleson Professional, for what you shell out to own one, was beyond what we expected.
It can be compared to the Stiga Pro Carbon in the way it performs yet it comes in about $16 cheaper.
Overall the Caleson Professional is a solid choice for the advanced players out there. It will help you step up your speed and take your skills to the next level. It does, however, lack in control. Not being able to play drop shots or anything related to finesse easily is the only downside.
Other Options
The Caleson Professional is a great intermediate level racket that gives you great spin and speed. What it lacks in control can be made up with experience although we would recommend that you get a better quality racket for overall performance and durability.
