It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Stiga XTR Outdoor Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table features a 6mm aluminum composite table top, 1 and 1/4 inch steel legs with levelers for uneven playing surfaces and 3 inch wheels that can lock the table in place. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

6mm Playing Surface

The downside to this table is the thin table top made of aluminum composite. The bounce on this table isn’t the best. We feel it is low and sometimes not entirely consistent and gives off a weird ‘pinging’ sound when playing on it, which took some getting used to.If you have ever played on the

If you have ever played on the Joola Nova DX Outdoor you can expect the same bounce and speed on this table.

It is, however, built to withstand the elements and tested against heat and humidity. This means you can leave the Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table in your yard and never have to worry about it warping or getting damaged.

The Undercarriage

The Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table was built to last. The frame is held together with 1 and 1/4 inch steel legs that hold the table top level at all times.

Its 3-inch caster locking wheels ensure that moving the table around is a breeze and the levelers allow you to play on almost any surface.

The addition of a safety latch system that locks the table upright when in storage makes sure that it won’t accidentally open at any time.

72 Inch All Weather Net System

The Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table comes with a net system that will make anyone happy.

Made of premium outdoor grade material you can expect the net to last as long as the playing surface. The system features all-weather material for exceptional playability and durability, while the post features a threaded clamp attachment system for easy on and off.

Did we mention that the net is adjustable and has the perfect tension setting?

2. Price

The Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table will set you back $499.99. It is a real bargain as the competitors come in at $100-200 more with about the same quality. We can compare it to the Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table. It is one of the best value outdoor tables around and recreational players would love the table.

3. Customer Satisfaction

Customers who bought the table had all but good reviews on Amazon.com. Here are a few things they had to say…

“I’ve only had the table for a couple of weeks but we all really like it. It arrived as scheduled and very well packaged. Putting it together was a breeze but you do need to have couple of wrenches to do it properly. I’m not an pro, and neither are the people I played with, but we have all liked it.”

“I bought this for use in my garage. I’ve played about 100 plus games on it so far. Works great and folds away when not in use.”

“We bought this table tennis able, and we literally use it EVERYDAY. It is not only very well made, but the blue color is aesthetically pleasing in our backyard.”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for the best value outdoor table in the market…

Buy the Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table! You won’t get any better value for your money. At $499.99 nothing comes close.

If you want an outdoor table that mimics indoor play…

The Stiga XTR Outdoor might not be the one for you. The 6mm table top offers low bounces that are sometimes inconsistent.

We highly recommend the Kettler Classic Outdoor 10. It’s quite a bit more expensive but it’s an exceptional outdoor table tennis table that is manufactured in Germany. The main selling point is the weatherproof 22mm ALU-TEC+ composite top. It gives a certified true bounce just like an indoor table. You can read our full review here.

5. The Final Word

The Stiga XTR Outdoor Table Tennis Table really is built for outdoor use. If you want a cheap and well made outdoor table then it is the right one for you. Just remember it is an outdoor table and you won’t get the same experience as playing on an indoor one.

Buy on Amazon.com for $499.99

Not sure if this table is the right one for you? No problem! You can check out all of our other table tennis table reviews here.

It really is a great value outdoor table.

It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Butterfly Compact Outdoor Review

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table features a 12mm compreg playing surface (11 layers of resin-treated plywood), four sturdy steel legs with rubber guards to lock the table in place when playing and wheels located at the center of each half for easy maneuverability.

The Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table is the brother of the Butterfly Compact 19 Table and if you have played on the Compact 19 you can expect the same consistent play on the outdoor version.

12mm Table Top

One of the strengths we found on the Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table is the table top. A 12mm playing surface for an outdoor table is a great thickness. We found it gave consistent bounce throughout play. We still found the bounce to be on the slower side but in turn played with good height.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are just looking for a table to use for a bit of fun, recreational table tennis then getting the Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table would be a good choice. However, if you are used to playing on “proper” tables, or planning on learning how to play table tennis at a club or perhaps playing competitively, then a 19mm table might not meet your standards.

Storage Space

A lot of us have really wanted a table tennis table but don’t have the space in our closet or garage to store it. The Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table would be the perfect choice, then! The combination of the top grade material and weather-proof construction means it can be practically stored anywhere. It takes minutes to set up or store and while stored takes up barely any space at all. Storage dimensions are 4 feet 8 inches high, 5 feet wide and 3 inches deep.

Storage dimensions are 4 feet 8 inches high, 5 feet wide and 3 inches deep. Yes, you read that right, 3 INCHES DEEP. We highly recommend this table for anyone who wants a decent table that they can keep away easily.

The Net

For being a mid-low range table the Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table comes with a decent net. The same one, actually, as the Butterfly Compact 19. No one likes a flimsy net made with low quality while playing and Butterfly have made sure this does not happen with this table. The rubber on the net clamp also helps prevent damage to the table when getting ready to play, which we found as a nice touch. The net is not a professional net but will give any recreational player a run for their money.

2. Price

The Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table is a great value for money outdoor table, and is our top outdoor pick! We would definitely recommend it.

Amazon.com sells the table for $584.41 and includes the net system.

Amazon.co.uk sells the table for £325.00 so you save a bit more if you’re in the UK. (Also with a net system)

3. Customer Satisfaction

Customers on Amazon.com had nothing but praise for this little table. Here are a few things they said…

“Excellent table. Very well made. Sturdy, simple and strong. Plays very well. I set it up outside and it rained 30 minutes later. We got one game in before the rain but the table got covered in water. He brought it under the covered deck, wiped it off with towels and it was 100% dry soon after. Definitely water resistant. Great table.”

“I ordered this table because I needed to get it up into an attic/bonus room over my garage. Great space saver!”

“I made the right choice with this table!”

4. Recommendations

Is this the right table for you?

If you are looking for a good value outdoor table that takes up little space…

Then the Butterfly Compact Outdoor Table Tennis Table is the table for you! With a 12mm compreg playing surface that offers great play and highly compact storage design, we would highly recommend this table.

If you want a more professional-quality outdoor table…

We highly recommend the Kettler Classic Outdoor 10. It’s quite a bit more expensive but it’s an exceptional outdoor table tennis table that is manufactured in Germany.

The main selling point is the weatherproof 22mm ALU-TEC+ composite top. It gives a certified true bounce just like an indoor table. You can read our full review here.

If you are in the market for a top of the line ITTF approved tournament table you might have come across the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table sold on Amazon.com for $1,071.38. It is one of our favorite tournament tables out there!

In this post, we will be reviewing the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table, weighing up the pros and cons of buying one and making a few other suggestions. It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Butterfly Europa 25 Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table features a 1 inch (25mm) playing surface, 5-inch wheels, 2-inch square steel legs for optimum stability and 2 by 3/4 inch steel railing. The table weighs a hefty 270 pounds and Butterfly swears on its quality by giving you a 5-year warranty.

Being the behemoth table you see it is also the most compact when stored. Taking up only 6 inches of depth the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table is an ITTF tournament approved table that you can store anywhere.

25mm Table Top – Tournament Ready

It’s hard to find a better tournament table tennis table on the market. The Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table provides competition-ready play around the clock. Being 25mm thick the table top gives you the perfect bounce with the consistency we all desire. If you are serious at all about table tennis you will enjoy this table, hands down.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are looking for a table to use for serious training and an authentic table tennis experience, then getting the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table would be a really great choice. However, if you are just looking for some fun and recreational play, or planning on getting a cheap table for family gatherings, then the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table might not be for you.

Spartan Undercarriage

The Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table leans towards practicality and play-ability over design, which is what most of us look for in a table. It’s spartan like simplistic design gives you a table that will last you years, if not decades.

The 2-inch square steel legs easily support the weight of the table while locking it into place. The weight of the setup doesn’t budge once put together and easily goes from storage to play in under 5 minutes! And the 6-inch depth of storage space takes up is the best design feature we can point out.

Having an ITTF tournament table AND being able to store it like a compact table is a must have feature.

PROFESSIONAL NET

As we all know, the net makes the table. Having a professional grade table with a rubbish net will never make anyone happy and affect play greatly. Thankfully, this table comes with Butterfly’s Europa net.

The posts are held in place by screw-on clamps with felt tips to prevent scratching the table. The net has a ring chain to adjust the tension. You want it just tight enough so it stands nicely upright.

Butterfly sells the net separately for about $90.00 and we are very happy they have included such a high-quality net with their beautiful table.

2. Price

Being a tournament ready table you would expect the price tag to be high up there, with lots of 0’s. The Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table is sold on Amazon.com for $1,071.38. It is on the more expensive side of tables, we agree.

But if you are looking to invest a table that could arguably last you a lifetime the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table would be one our top ones.

3. Customer Satisfaction

We have only read good news about the table. Here are some comments from customers who bought it…

“Amazing quality build, Unfold the legs, attach the high quality net and find an opponent…two minutes before we were playing.”

“Like the Centrefold 25, a great and consistent table.”

“Thought about the investment, and made it. Will not look back on this decision EVER!”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for a professional tournament-grade table…

Buy the Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table! We could not recommend getting a better grade table for a fraction of the price of other professional tables.

If you want a table for recreational play…

This table might not be for you. If you have the extra money we highly recommend it but, with a price of $1,071.38, it might be a bit much.

For recreational play, the Stiga Advantage would be a good choice. It is the best value table tennis table available for under $400.

5. The Final Word

The Butterfly Europa 25 Table Tennis Table is built for professional and competition use. If you want a table that the pros play on and are willing to invest into it, it is for you.

Buy on Amazon.com for $1,071.38

It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Joola Nova Outdoor Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table features an 6mm aluminum composite table top, a thick 40mm apron to prevent warping and adjustable leg levelers that self fold. The entire table is reinforced with a 2 inch heavy gauge welded steel undercarriage to keep it stable during play and prevent warping. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

6mm Table Top

The downside to this table is the thin table top made of aluminum composite. The bounce on this table isn’t the best. We feel it is low and sometimes not entirely consistent. It also gives off a weird ‘pinging’ sound when playing on it, which took some getting used to.

It is, however, built to withstand the elements and tested against heat and humidity. This means you can leave the Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table in your yard and never have to worry about it warping or getting damaged.

Sturdy Undercarriage

The table top on the Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table is help by a thick 40mm PVC apron that prevents damage and warping. Connected to this apron are heavy duty 2 inch gauge welded steel legs that offer leveling on uneven surfaces, which we found great. Its 4 wheels are also made to weather the elements being rust proof and more than able to carry the 120 pound set.

The Net…

The net that comes with the Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table is what holds the 2 piece table set together. Seeing that this would make or break the deal as you would want the table to be held together well and the net to be of above average quality, we we’re disappointed in its performance. If you accidentally nudge the table while playing the clamps on the net could come loose. It didn’t happen ALL the time but it is one of the little things that annoyed us. Having to re-adjust the net every few minutes was no fun at all.

2. Price

The Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table will set you off $499.00. It is a real bargain as the competitors come in at $100-200 more with about the same quality. It is one of the best value outdoor tables around and recreational players would love the table.

3. Customer Satisfaction

Everyone had something good to say about this table on Amazon. Here are a few things they said…

“This was definitely everything I expected and more. Setup was super easy, just had to attach legs, all hinges were pre-assembled, The table top was flawless. I’ve played on this for about 3 weeks now and I have to say it’s the best outdoor table I’ve played on!”

“Bought this for the family for Christmas, best ping pong table we’ve ever owned!love the durability, doesn’t scratch or chip.folds amazingly easy, we even took it over to a friends house for New years Eve party, piece of cake to load and setup.”

“Love this table – was everything advertised, including how easy it is to assemble. Great table for the price”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for the best value outdoor table…

Buy the Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table! You won’t get any better value for your money. At $499.00 nothing comes close. Just make sure you purchase a replacement net and you will enjoy.

If you want an outdoor table that mimics indoor play…

The Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table might not be the one for you. The 6mm table top offers low bounces that are sometimes inconsistent.

For a little bit more you could get the Butterfly Outdoor Rollaway Table. It retails for about $700 and is built with higher quality AND comes with a better grade net.

5. Final Word

The Joola Nova Outdoor Table Tennis Table really is built for outdoor use. If you want a cheap and well made outdoor table then it is the right one for you. Just remember you won’t be getting a table that plays like an indoor one and could take a bit of getting used to.

It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table features a 5/8 inch (19mm) table top, 1 and 1/2 inch steel railing (table top guard), 1 inch steel legs and four 5 inch ball bearing caster wheels. The table weighs about 190 pounds. Stored dimensions of the table are 73.5 inches high and 24.5 inches wide. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to).

19mm Table Top

The Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table has a great thickness to it. 19mm gives you a great bounce and playing on the table does not feel that slow at all. The top is protected by a heavy duty steel guard rail system that makes the table feel like it can last a while with you.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are just looking for a table to use for a bit of fun, recreational table tennis, and maybe a bit of training here and there, then getting the Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table would be a good choice. However, if you are used to playing on “proper” tables, or planning on learning how to play table tennis at a club or perhaps playing competitively then it might not be for you.

Construction

We found that the Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table has a very outdated design. Its legs are only 1 inch thick and are made of heavy steel. The folding system allows the net to stay attached to the table but in turn makes the table a lot bigger when folded up – taking up a lot more space than necessary. It also takes AGES to set up as there are a million parts on it.

It may be lacking in extra features and bells and whistles, but it delivers on the basics. The table may be very difficult to assemble, but once assembled it’s a good indoor table that should offer years of enjoyment for any entry level or recreational player.

2. Price

The Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table will only set you back $470.99 on Amazon.com. It is a great priced table, by all means. The downside to this great price is the outdated design which should not affect the choice of entry level or recreational players. HOWEVER we would not recommend this table to anyone, really.

3. Customer Satisfaction

The reviews on Amazon.com have not been that good for this table. Here are some of the comments we read…

“After I received the item, Installation process is also painful. Some holes don’t match at all, you need to try very hard to align them together.”

“I have always wanted a Butterfly table but could not afford the prices for a premium table. This was a good compromise.”

“Purchased almost a year ago. Table is solid. Net is very good. Folds up and slides around easily. Just a little work putting it together.”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

We honestly would not recommend this table to you. It is outdated, hard to move around, takes up lots of storage and a pain to set up. Butterfly do make great tables, but this one at this date is just not worth it.

Instead of the Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table we highly recommend the Stiga Advantage. It is the best value for money table under $400! Being one of the best sellers on Amazon.com we would recommend it to any recreational or entry level player.

5. Final Word

The Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table Tennis Table was a great table, years ago… It still is a decent table, just not one we would recommend to anyone.

<del>Buy the Butterfly Playback Rollaway Table on Amazon.com for $470.99</del>

But we highly recommend getting the Stiga Advantage on Amazon.com for $399.99

In this post, we will be reviewing the Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top, weighing up the pros and cons of buying one and making a few other suggestions. It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Joola Conversion Table Top

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top features a 15mm table top, foam padding to prevent scratches and damage to the table you are placing it on and two halves with the net clipping onto the center. It is the ideal table top to place on your billiard table but we recommend that you have one that is up to 8 feet in length only. The table top weighs about 115 pounds and can be set up by just one person.

15mm Table Top

One of the weaknesses we have seen with the Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top is its table top. Being only 15mm you can expect play to be a bit slower and the bounce to lack some height you would normally see on a thicker table.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are just looking for a table top to use for a bit of fun, recreational table tennis, and maybe a bit of training here and there, then getting the Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top would be a good choice. However, if you are used to playing on “proper” tables, or planning on learning how to play table tennis at a club or perhaps playing competitively, then a 15mm table might not meet your standards.

The Net

We are more than happy that Joola have provided a great net and post set with this table top. You will always hear “The Net makes the Table” from us, and this is no exception. The net posts clamp onto the table top tightly, but without damaging it, and holds the net with perfect tension. The net is also adjustable, which we would always want ours to be.

2. Price

The Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top will set you off $330.46 on Amazon.com. This is a great price for any durable conversion table top. You get great value for money with a 15mm MDF table top, cushioning to protect the table you place it on and a great net system.

3. Customer Satisfaction

The reviews on Amazon.com have all been great. Here are a couple of things they had to say…

“I considered a number of similar products, and selected the JOOLA Conversion Table as it seemed to be the highest quality. It showed up right on time, and was a huge hit over the holiday.”

“Excellent quality- used this on top of an old air hockey table- perfect!”

“Let’s face it, there’s something timeless about the sound of the ping pong ball bouncing back and forth in a rec room or basement. Well worth the investment I made..”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for a recreational table that takes up no space…

Get the Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top. It is on of our recommended conversion table tops and offers the best value for money deal.

If you are looking for a table that is truly “competition-ready”

You’ll need to invest in a table with at least a 22mm playing surface.

Our favourite 22mm table, at a reasonable price, is the Butterfly Match 22 Rollaway. For roughly $850 you can buy a high-performance table from the leading brand in table tennis. That is a little more than double the Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top, though.

5. The Final Word

The Joola Conversion Table Tennis Top is a great conversion table that will fit into any game room or basement. It takes up almost no space when stored and is fairly easy to set up. We would recommend this conversion top to any recreational or novice play out there.

Ben and Sam used something very similar for most of the Expert in a Year training. Not an ideal choice, but not a one bad either.

Joola Tour 2500 Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table features a 1 inch (25mm) playing surface, dual safety locking devices with two separate halves and four wheels per half for easy mobility. It is a USATT approved table and net system ready for tournament level play. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

Competition Ready Table Top

The Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table provides tournament ready play with its 25mm playing surface. Its hard to find a better indoor table out there as you can expect perfect bounce and consistent play around the clock.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are looking for a table to use for serious training and an authentic table tennis experience, then getting the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table would be a really great choice. However, if you are just looking for some fun and recreational play, or planning on getting a cheap table for family gatherings, then the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table might not be for you.

Construction

A great thing about the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table is the fact that it’s essentially two separate table halves that come together to form the full table. Each standalone half has its own built-in trundle system that allows it to be transported and stored separately. This dual undercarriage system makes the table very easy to maneuver and due to the 3-inch lockable casters, the table rolls smoothly and easily across most surfaces while weighing about 125 pounds each.

Professional Net

As we all know, the net makes the table. Having a professional grade table with a rubbish net will never make anyone happy and affect play greatly. Thankfully, this table comes with a Joola Professional Net System.

The posts are held in place by screw-on clamps that are made to prevent scratching the table. The net has a ring chain to adjust the tension. You want it just tight enough so it stands nicely upright. You can also use the net to level out the two halves of the table, which we found worked great.

2. Price

The Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table was made with value for money. It is a professional grade table at a fraction of the price of others on the market and we would recommend it to any serious player.

Sold on Amazon.com for $796.99 it has a very appealing price tag. But you can get it cheaper on Megaspin.net, which are selling it for $634.95. And if you are also looking to train with a robot there is an iPong robot bundle with the table, also on Megaspin.net, for $799.00.

3. Customer Satisfaction

The reviews on both Amazon.com and Megaspin.net have been great. Here are some of the things people had to say…

“I purchased this table 6 months ago and have been pleased with the durability, quality construction, and design. I was drawn to this table after researching other tables without the strong leg and cross table supports.”

“The table is amazing and it plays incredibly well on. Very happy with the upgrade to a Joomla table. It looks, feels, and plays professional.”

“This table is awesome. As a polished player, I was looking for a table to put in my home that would give me competition-grade play while still affordable. This is that table.”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for a table that it truly “Competition-ready”…

By all means get the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table! It is one the best value for money professional grade table out there.

If you are looking for a recreational table that is more easily stored…

Maybe getting the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table might not be the right choice. We would recommend getting the Stiga Advantage Table Tennis Table which is the best table under $400.00 and will give you decent play.

5. The final Word

The Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table is built for professional and competition use. If you want a table that the pros play on and are willing to spend a bit extra, it is for you.

Buy the Joola Tour 2500 on Amazon.com for $796.99

But we recommend buying it from Megaspin.net for$ 634.95

Or getting it with the iPong Robot Bundle on Megaspin.net for $799.00

If you are in the market for a recreational table that offers great play and is easily stored you might have come across the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table sold on Amazon.com for $605.65.
In this post, we will be reviewing the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table, weighing up the pros and cons of buying one and making a few other suggestions. It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Joola Tour 1800 Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table features an 18mm MDF playing surface, dual safety locking devices with two separate halves and four wheels per half for easy mobility. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

18mm Table Top

The only weakness we saw on the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table would be the 18mm playing surface. Being 18mm it offers a true-er bounce than most table and is close to competition grade play, but you would need it to be a bit thicker for a more authentic experience.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are just looking for a table to use for a bit of fun, recreational table tennis, and maybe a bit of training here and there, then getting the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table would be a good choice. However, if you are used to playing on “proper” tables, or planning on learning how to play table tennis at a club or perhaps playing competitively, then a 18mm table might not meet your standards.

Construction

The Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table is very similar to the Joola Tour 2500 in materials and features. The biggest difference being that it’s an 18mm (vs 25mm) thick playing surface and that the frame and undercarriage are made of a 40mm (vs 50mm) squared metal.

While it is somewhat lighter than the Joola Tour 2500 Indoor Table Tennis Table, the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table weighs in at a pretty hefty 226 pounds. It’s heavy enough to provide a good, stable playing surface without being so heavy that it’s exceedingly difficult to fold and move. The sturdy 1.5-inch frame and undercarriage are built with heavy-duty welded steel and will give the table a much longer lifespan than other competing table tennis tables.

Top-Notch Net

As we all know, the net makes the table. Having a professional grade table with a rubbish net will never make anyone happy and affect play greatly. Thankfully, this table comes with a Joola Professional Net System.

The posts are held in place by screw-on clamps that are made to prevent scratching the table. The net has a ring chain to adjust the tension. You want it just tight enough so it stands nicely upright. You can also use the net to level out the two halves of the table, which we found worked great.

2. Price

The Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table uses some of the best materials and has some of the best craftsmanship of any table in its price range. It would be a great choice for any recreational player.

Sold on Amazon.com for $605.65 it would attract anyone who plays a great deal of table tennis. But it is sold cheaper on Megaspin.net for $499.00. If you are looking at training on this table Megaspin.net also has an iPong Robot Bundle for $679.00.

3. Customer Satisfaction

The reviews on both Amazon.com and Megaspin.net have nothing but praise for this table. Here are a few things they had to say…

“I am a 43 year old father of three boys 10 and under. I enjoy an undefeated table tennis record with the boys and this table will enable me to continue my dominance for at least another half decade.”

“Great table! The setup was the main reason I purchased this table and the setup was just as the instructions indicated. The table plays excellent and we are extremely happy with it.”

“This table is fantastic. Beautiful surface and color and good bounce. Two people needed to move the table to the basement, but not a difficult task. Assembly is a breeze.”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are in the market for a more serious recreational table…

Get the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table! It offers great value for money while providing consistent play. You will have a hard time finding a better 18mm playing surface.

If you are looking for a table that is truly “competition-ready”…

You’ll need to invest in a table with at least a 22mm playing surface – and that is going to be a fair bit more expensive.

Our favourite 22mm table, at a reasonable price, is the Butterfly Match 22 Rollaway. For roughly $850 you can buy a high-performance table from the leading brand in table tennis. That’s a little less than twice the Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table, though.

5. Final Word

The Joola Tour 1800 Table Tennis Table is a great all around table that will give any recreational player years of fun. It is priced nicely and can endure playing on it for years to come.

<del>Buy the Joola Tour 1800 on Amazon.com for $605.65</del>

But we highly recommend getting it on Megaspin.net for $499.00

Killerspin MyT10 Table

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table features a 25mm MDF playing surface, a 2-inch powder coated metal frame and, 4 ball bearing wheels for smooth transport, and levelers for an even playing surface every time. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

Killerspin have a special “repeat roller coating” (RRC) that gives you 16 coatings to give you a better playing experience and more protection on the playing surface. The table also comes in 2 colorways – black and blue. It’s all sounding good so far!

It would be quite hard to find other tables to compare to the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table. Being 25mm you can expect a perfect bounce and consistent speed during play. Providing you with the true table tennis experience when you play on it, what more could you want?

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are looking for a table to use for serious training and an authentic table tennis experience, then getting the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table would be a really great choice. However, if you are just looking for some fun and recreational play, or planning on getting a cheap table for family gatherings, then the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table might not be for you.

Top-Notch Undercarriage

Sporting 2-inch thick square steel legs and 4 ball bearing caster wheels, the table is built to last. Killerspin have outdone themselves with their design and attention to detail here.

The legs are adjustable, for slightly uneven playing surfaces, and are supported by rubber contact points as to not scratch the floor. Rubber wheels help slide the table around without any scratches or noise at all.

Professional Net

As we all know, the net makes the table. Having a professional grade table with a rubbish net will never make anyone happy and affect play greatly.

Killerspin provided with their net system that is adjustable, for the perfect tension, and compliments the table with an artistic touch.

2. Price

Being a professional grade table you can expect the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table to come with an outrageous price tag, but at $999.00 on Amazon.com it is one of the best value for money 25mm tables out there.

If you are looking to enjoy playing table tennis and are willing to spend a bit extra on the table for a better experience the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table would be a good choice.

3. Customer Satisfaction

There are currently no reviews on Amazon.com about the table. But the customers had nothing but good words on Megaspin.net and here are a few things they had to say…

“We love our table! It was so easy to put together and is beautiful in the black color way.”

“Super easy to assembly. The ball and racket holders rock. Very cool looking.”

“The net finally makes you feel like you are playing on a real table.”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are in the market for a professional-grade table…

Get the Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table! We would highly recommend it as it is the fraction of the cost of some other competition-ready tables.

If you are looking for the best value for money professional table…

This table might not be for you. The Joola Tour 2500 table tennis table is what we would recommend as the best value for money 25mm option out there. At $799.00 on Amazon.com and $634.95 on Megaspin.net how could we not recommend it?

5. The Final Word

The Killerspin MyT10 Table Tennis Table is built as a professional and competition ready table. If you want a table that pros use, and are willing to spend a bit of money on it, we would recommend this table. However, if you are looking for the best value for money professional table, take a look at the Joola Tour 2500 table tennis table.

If you are in the market for a sleek recreational table that is easily stored then you might have come across the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table sold on Amazon.com for $799.00.

In this post, we will be reviewing the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table, weighing up the pros and cons of buying one and making a few other suggestions. It is our hope that after reading this, you will find it much easier to decide whether this table is right for you.

Before we get into the review, we recommend you check out Ben’s popular article, The Best Table Tennis Tables, for a comprehensive look at everything you should consider before buying a table tennis table.

Killerspin MyT7 Pocket

In this review, we will be looking at the following factors…

Features

Price

Customer Satisfaction

Recommendations

The Final Word

1. Features

The Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table features an 18mm MDF black or blue playing top, 40mm thick powder coated steel legs and 20mm by 50mm metal heavy gauge edge banding. With the 8 caster wheels, 4 on each side, transporting its heavy 225 pound frame is made easy. It has a playback feature (meaning you can put half of the table up to hit against – if you want to). And it can also be stored away very compact.

18mm Table Top

The Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table offers you an table top that is on the thicker side of tables. Being 18mm you can expect a “truer” bounce from it and that play will be close to competition grade tables.

Ben talk’s a lot more about the importance of table thickness in his comprehensive article The Best Table Tennis Tables but, in short, competition tables are 25mm thick and you really need a table to be 19mm thick in order to get a “decent” bounce.

If you are just looking for a table to use for a bit of fun, recreational table tennis, and maybe a bit of training here and there, then getting the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table would be a good choice. However, if you are used to playing on “proper” tables, or planning on learning how to play table tennis at a club or perhaps playing competitively, then a 18mm table might not meet your standards.

Sleek design and construction

With each half of the table mounted on 40mm powder coated heavy duty steel legs you can expect this table to be very solid. The 4 wheels on each side, with locking casters, offer easy transport and great safety while playing. Weighing in at 225 pounds the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table is by no means light and you can see how solid it is because of this.

By all means the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table is a solid choice. Providing a robust design that easily carries itself and allows for only one person assembly make it a top-notch one. The addition of pockets to hold your bats and balls is also a tiny detail that makes this table great.

The Net

We can’t stress this enough. Having a top notch table with a rubbish net makes the table useless. No one enjoys a flimsy net that sometimes comes undone during play. if you purchase the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table you get a top class Killerspin net in the package. The net clamps both sides of the table together snugly and has great tension, which you can adjust, meaning you can play great table tennis.

2. Price

The only weakness we found with the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table is its price. It sells on Amazon.com for $799.00 and we find this a bit pricey for what you actually get.

Don’t get us wrong the table is a great choice for one under $1000. But if you are willing to spend that much on this table we suggest you either save a bit more or go for a cheaper one with almost the same specifications.

3. Customer Satisfaction

The customer reviews on Amazon have been scarce but sounding great. Here are a few of their comments…

“Very solid table and very good looking.”

“We searched for a long time for the right tennis table and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Great quality and looks very nice!”

4. Recommendations

Is this table right for you?

If you are looking for a table with sleek design for recreational play…

Buy the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table. The 18mm MDF top gives you good bounce quality and will keep any recreational player happy. The price tag is the only real downside to this table.

If you want a table that is truly “competition-ready”…

You’ll need to invest in a table with at least a 22mm playing surface – but if you are looking at spending $799.00 on a table we have just the one for you!

Our favourite 22mm table, at a reasonable price, is the Butterfly Match 22 Rollaway. For roughly $850 you can buy a high-performance table from the leading brand in table tennis. That’s only $50.00 more than the Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table and we highly recommend you spend that little more.

5. The Final Word

The Killerspin MyT7 table tennis table is a great table, by all means. The playing top with the combined net is a great package. And the pockets add a little extra to it. This being said we just find it to priced to high for what you get. Saving $50 more you could get a competition ready table in the Butterfly Match 22 Rollaway for $849.48 on Amazon.com.

<del>Buy the Killerspin Table Tennis Table MyT7 Pocket on Amazon.com for $799.00</del>

But we recommend getting the Butterfly Match 22 Rollaway on Amazon.com for $849.48
